X marks the Spot.  After we harvested this piece of guava, we noticed that it had distinct marks that the natives had carved and burned into it.  After we sanded it, we discovered these x-markings went deep into the wood.  Makes you wonder what treasure was buried near that tree.

All of our KIL Guava Sticks are selected and harvested directly from the source by our KIL Team.  After our guava pieces are naturally cured, we give them a slight straightening (as much as we can to this dense wood), three levels of sanding, a massage of essential oils, then our satin finished guava sticks are given several coats of natural wax.
