North Borneo Ceremonial Kris
You can tell this keris has been through some really tough times. It has clear marks that some mangy dog used it as a chew toy; what a life!!! Most of the dangling decorations are gone, but it still has one ornamental tooth attached. (Was it the dog's tooth, or his owner's???)
The blade is shiny because I put some work into it, cleaning off the rust. A lot of acidic baths, intermingled with scrubbing with a brass wire brush, allowed for what was left of the blade to finally shine through.
