Machete Chopper Knife
This blade was completely covered in rust and heavily pitted, but it has such a great feel in the hand that I just had to bring it back to good health. I did some heavy grinding to get most of the rust off. Then I soaked it for days in vinegar. Followed up by continual sanding in different grits. I finished it off with a hefty amount of brass-wire power brushing to show off this hearty blade. And it was all worth it. It feels ready to go trekking through the jungles of northern Philippines; which is where I found it.
